Text Box: Power Door Openers can be fitted to vehicles with barn or sliding doors and opens the doors automatically prior to the wheelchair lifter deploying. The doors can be operated either by a control unit mounted above the rear view mirror or a remote control.

These automated door operating systems have been designed with safety as well as vehicle asthetics in mind. Operators have been installed behind the door panels, and the clutch mechanism can be overridden by the turn of a lever for added safety.
